Wedding Breakfast at Cote How

Cote How – Exclusively Yours

Cote How is a family run, all-inclusive, award-winning wedding venue with full exclusivity.
Steeped in history and set in the heart of Wordsworth's Romantic English Lake District, Cote How commands an amazing location at the head of the Rydal Valley, naturally secluded by river, fell and lake.
Cote How offers a unique, flexible and authentic Lakeland experience for relaxed and private weddings in the historic house and rustic slate barn, and with a choice of five ceremony locations, both inside and outside weddings are available with panoramic views and the mountains your witnesses.

Whatever style of wedding you choose you will have full use of the house for pre and post ceremony drinks and canapes, the barn or house for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and full access to our four acres of private grounds and our 7 acre flower meadow which leads to the lake shores of Rydal Water and the River Rothay just 200m away. Rydal Water is an unspoilt natural lake with stunning views and is a must for every couple wishing to capture these precious moments on camera.

Specializing in smaller more intimate weddings we pride ourselves in creating bespoke, relaxed and very personal experience to suit a variety of styles. We have three super-king luxury bedrooms for the main bridal party and have links to our neighbouring accommodation providers within a short walking distance. As a dedicated wedding venue, you can rest assured you will enjoy complete privacy for the entirety of your wedding, be that two hours or three days.
Caroline and Steve, renowned for their client dedication, creatively guide every couple through their wedding journey to give them the best possible wedding experience from point of contact to departing Cote How as a newly married couple.

We offer a full range of weddings from a simple two-hour elopement to a full weekend VIP wedding, where we will organise the whole wedding from accommodation, flowers and photographer through to food, drinks and table dressing, with Caroline, your personal assistant, guiding you every step of the way.
