Completely refurbished in 2018, in a beautiful location by Rydal Falls, Stable Cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage:
sleeps up to 4 (ideally) or 6 (max)
in one double and one superking/twin bedroom plus sofa bed
All rooms are at ground-floor level and the cottage has a cosy living room with wood-burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, one double and one twin bedroom, bathroom and a small private garden.
Parking is available in the campsite car park next to the cottage and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Set in over thirty acres of garden, woodland and natural beauty in he Lake District UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rydal Hall is the ideal venue for retreats, events, activity weekends or just a family holiday. With wonderful views over the Rothay Valley and with the Fairfield Horseshoe and Nab Scar as a backdrop, the Hall and its grounds are the perfect place to enjoy this beautiful part of the world.

A listed period property dating back to 1650. A formal Garden designed by Thomas Mawson. The extensive grounds include a Victorian Ice-house, an 18th century Game Larder, an 18th century viewing station known as the Grot with extensive views of a waterfall in Rydal Beck which has been painted by John Constable. A textile, wood, metal and stone sculpture path which includes art by Shawn Williamson in memorial to Josefina de Vasconcelos.
