Daw Bank is a traditional Lakeland slate cottage located in an enviable position right in the centre of Chapel Stile with the excellent village store just a stone's throw away and Wainwrights Inn just a short stroll. During the 1890's Daw Bank housed the first Langdale Valley Co-op, now it provides comfortable and spacious accommodation for six people. Walks for all abilities are a plenty and straight from the door. This is a perfect setting in which to relax and enjoy one of the most popular parts of the Lake District National Park with very little need to use the car on a daily basis.

Accommodation: Entrance up a couple of steps and into the hallway where there is room to leave coats and boots (wc and basin). Large L-shaped lounge/kitchen/dining room with dual aspect. Lounge area has comfortable seating with large window (TV with Freeview, DVD, Wi-Fi and log burning stove). The well-equipped kitchen is fitted with contemporary shaker style units in cream, with large dining table to seat six and views over the back garden.

On the first floor there are two good sized bedrooms a king sized bedroom to the front with views over the village and a twin to the rear overlooking the garden. Large family bathroom (bath with shower over, basin and wc). On the second floor is the spacious master king size room (TV) with sloping roof lines, views over the village and adjacent wc and basin.

Daw Bank is neutrally decorated throughout and comfortably furnished with mainly fitted carpets and oil central heating. The owners have lovingly refurbished the property to provide a home from home from which to enjoy many a holiday.

Outside: To the rear is a small grassed area and two raised patios with garden furniture - children need to be supervised. Note: there is access through Daw Banks garden to neighbouring cottages, however the garden itself is for private use only. Parking is usually available in the lane outside the cottage.
