It is ideal for groups staying for retreats or events who prefer a simpler style of accommodation. The Bunkhouse is ideal for groups looking to cater for themselves, but catered packages are also available.
The common room has tables, chairs, sofas and a cosy wood-burning stove with a complimentary bag of logs. The fully-equipped stainless steel kitchen includes a cooker, microwave, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
As well as en suite facilities for two of the dormitories there are showers and toilets on the ground floor.
Pillows and pillowcases are provided, but guests are asked to bring their own towels, tea towels and sleeping bags or bed linen and duvets.

Set in over thirty acres of garden, woodland and natural beauty in he Lake District UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rydal Hall is the ideal venue for retreats, events, activity weekends or just a family holiday. With wonderful views over the Rothay Valley and with the Fairfield Horseshoe and Nab Scar as a backdrop, the Hall and its grounds are the perfect place to enjoy this beautiful part of the world.

A listed period property dating back to 1650. A formal Garden designed by Thomas Mawson. The extensive grounds include a Victorian Ice-house, an 18th century Game Larder, an 18th century viewing station known as the Grot with extensive views of a waterfall in Rydal Beck which has been painted by John Constable. A textile, wood, metal and stone sculpture path which includes art by Shawn Williamson in memorial to Josefina de Vasconcelos.
