The heated indoor leisure pool is the centrepiece of the leisure facilities and the perfect place to relax - lounge at the poolside, swim, or enjoy the soothing spa bath, Sauna and steam room. The Swimming Pool:

The longest private pool in the area, in the beautiful surroundings of the langdale valley with its own outdoor poolside patio complete with deck chairs, parasols, table tennis, fussball and giant chess set. Whether you’re looking for a swim in the private swim lane, a splash with friends and family in the main pool, to watch your new born play in the dedicated baby pool or to soak the day away on our automatic massage seats, there is something for everyone.

Adults only swimming from 7am to 8.30am and after 9pm

The Spa Pool:

Relax after a long day hiking, a hard workout or let go of your worries submerged in the warm caressing bubbles of our poolside spa pool.

The Steam Room:

Feel the gentle relaxation of the steam room that will leave you with a great sense of well-being. The hot, steamy atmosphere assists breathing, improve skin and melt any stiffness away. Afterwards, step under the cold deluge shower to be left feeling wonderfully invigorated.

The Sauna:

The poolside sauna offers a relaxing and soothing environment.

Physio Therm:

The infrared technique relies on heating a small area of the body in order to gradually heat the whole body via the circulatory system. This process improves circulation, stimulates metabolism and detoxification and can help to alleviate musculoskeletal conditions.

Tropical Shower:

Relax with warm tropical rain or invigorate in a chilling arctic storm.

Deluge Shower:

Take a deep breath, brace yourself and pull the lever! Four gallons of icy cold water delivered in under a second - the perfect way to cool down after a steam or sauna session .


With the essential gym equipment to provide the highest level workout, and a team of highly qualified and insured trainers, we can offer tailored and adaptable training with your every visit. Not only will we provide you with the facilities to achieve your goals but we will help you develop the tools to maintain and continue a healthy, lean lifestyle.

Functional Zone:

The newest addition to the Langdale club, this area offers the area for those looking for a non-traditional workout area, with battle ropes, punch bags, spinning bikes, squat racks and TRX. Use this area to super charge your workouts and get the best and most up to date workouts possible either on your own or in groups.

Soft Play

Want to entertain the kids on a lazy lake district rainy day, visit our soft play area, whether it be curled up on sofas and bean bags watching the latest kids TV, drawing on our enormous blackboard, creating a woodland paradise with our animal transfers. Enjoy a selection of toys and giant board games we have, there is something for every kid, whether big or small.

From the south, leave the M6 at jct 36, take the A591 by-passing Kendal. Follow this Lakeland route past Windermere to Ambleside. Turn left on to the A593.
At Skelwith Bridge turn right on to the B5343 & follow signs for Langdale.

From the north, leave the M6 at jct 40. Take the A66 towards Keswick, then left via the B5322 on to the A591 via Grasmere to Ambleside. Turn right on to the A593.
