No 3 Swiss Villas is a lovely Victorian terrace house which sleeps from 2-6 people and is located in central Ambleside, just off the main road, and convenient for shops, 5 cinema screens, 1 with live satellite link to national theatre and opera from around the world, jazz bar, restaurants, walks, parks and a 10-minute stroll to lake Windermere. The property is situated close to White Platts Recreation Area with 9 hole mini-golf course – with a 90 metre hole, putting green and crazy golf. The area has 3 full size tennis courts and a large bowling green. The house is newly refurbished, with full central heating and an open fire laid ready for your arrival. Additional fuel is available to buy just up the road. 3 flat- screen colour TVs and DVD player are available and an ipod docking station. Wi Fi is also available at the property. The house is in a slightly elevated position with good views across the town to Wansfell. There are 3-double bedrooms, 1 with twin beds. All beds are made up ready for your arrival. Towels are not normally provided but can be supplied by arrangement. Cots are not provided.

Short breaks, minimum 3 nights, are available by arrangement, particularly in the winter months. Charges for short breaks are available Nov - Easter from £85/£90 per night for the whole house, depending on the number of visitors. All bookings include main fuel charges.

Swiss Villas is a non-smoking house. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. There is on-street parking outside the house for the duration of your stay, for which 2 private permits are supplied. Rear yard for cycle storage and a further outside toilet.
