Pretty villages like Grasmere and Keswick are within a short drive and buses to Langdale, Coniston and Hawkshead stop nearby. Dating from the 17th century, the cottage has been completely modernised to a high standard of comfort, while retaining much of its period character. A Grade II listed building with many original features and exposed oak beams, it has been furnished in character. It has gas central heating, there is hot water at all times and it is well equipped. It comfortably accommodates up to 6 in 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms. On the ground floor are the lounge, kitchen/dining room and cloakroom. The first floor has 2 bedrooms and bathroom, and the third bedroom is on the second floor.
