The Wave Centre & Maryport TIC

The Wave Centre is a revolutionary £3.3million entertainment and conferencing centre situated in the historic Georgian harbour town of Maryport, in the Western Lake District.

The main theatre is a multi functional space that features professional theatre and music performances and local community performances. The theatre holds 234 seated and 300 for standing performances.

The Wave Centre also houses Maryport`s Tourist Information Centre providing information on events, attractions and local accommodation.
The main Theatre can be hired privately for conferences, award ceremonies, training, events, weddings and parties etc. We offer packages to suit whatever your needs are.

The Wave café / bistro offers light snacks, lunches, refreshments and a bistro menu, overlooking the River Ellen. All food is fresh and home-made on the premises, we have a children`s menu and our fish and chips are not to be missed. There is a fully stocked licensed events bar and a catering service for special events. We also offer a bistro menu before performances and events.
