VisitEngland 4 Star Self-catering

All the national assessing bodies (VisitEngland*, VisitScotland, Visit Wales and the AA) now assess hotels and guest accommodation (including B&Bs) to the same criteria and award one to five stars. The star ratings reflect the overall quality of the experience. When choosing your accommodation look for the Quality Rose, the official marque of the Enjoy England national tourist board rating scheme.

Notes

  • Two ground floor cottages and 5 cottages with internal stairs, cottages with stairs have extra toilet downstairs. <br />Parking and pathways to cottages are flat. Eight Byre and Milking Parlour, ground floor, have ramps to entrance. Other cottages have one step up to entrance. <br />Five cottages allow dogs, we don't allow dogs including service dogs into Engine House or Eighteen Byre.<br />Barley Store, Engine House, have separate shower units. Eighteen Byre has a wet room. All others have bath and shower.
