Details

New site on working farm, featuring cows, sheep, working sheep dogs and free range hens. From the site there are magnificent views of western fells, including Scafell and Great Gable. The western lakes is an area with many attractions awaiting to be explored, including Ravenglass & Eskdale Minature Railway and Muncaster Castle with Owl Centre. The area is steeped with Roman historical places and coastal maritime ports. A nature lovers paradise!

From the south leave M6 at jct 36 and follow signs to Barrow (A590). Take right at Greenodd Estuary and follow signs to Workington (A5092/A595). Follow the A595, turning for Workington at the T-junction after about 15 miles. 6 miles on, pass Muncaster Castle, do not take Ravenglass junction. After passing Muncaster Hill, take left to Saltcoats (with caravan sign). Go straight, Cumblands Farm is on the left along a lane.

From the north leave M6 at jct 44 and follow the A595 for Workington. Or for the scenic route leave at jct 40 and follow the A66, then A5086 for Egremont, then A595 all the way through to Holmrook. Go over the bridge passed garage on the right, take next turn on the right to Seacoats. Go straight, Cumblands Farm is on the left along a lane.
