Converted from a former stableblock as the name suggests, this pretty detached sandstone cottage was fully refurbished by the present owners in 2008 providing a beautiful holiday cottage of the highest standards with wood-burning stove, 4-poster bed, galley kitchen, beamed and vaulted ceilings. This split-level bungalow is 2-minutes walk away from Appleby town centre overlooking green fields. Sleeps 6. Bedroom 1 is large with a 4-poster bed. Bedroom 2 is another large room with double bed and bedroom 3 is a smaller room with bunk beds. Lounge/diner has wood-burning stove, settes and patio door leading to seating area. The galley kitchen has new white goods, including washer/dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin. The immaculate cottage has an outside parking area for 2 cars. Fuel/linen supplied, welcome pack with home-made biscuits etc. Travel cot and high chair available on request, well-behaved pets by arrangement.

Historic Appleby is a delightful market town within easy reach of Cumbrian honey pots and Yorkshire Dales.
