Details

Cobblestone Barn is a Grade II Listed, eco-friendly barn renovated in 2010 and is in the centre of the scenic village of Melmerby. The barn is situated behind the main house which is set in a very tranquil court yard. The accommodation is split into 3 levels, on the ground floor are 2 bedrooms one double room and one twin room and a fantastic bathroom, all heated via under floor heating from a ground source heat pump. On Level 2 is the lounge, kitchen/diner and a large single en-suite Bedroom. This Barn is suitable for 5 adults or 4 adults and two children, on level 3 is a galleried mezzanine which overlooks the lounge. The barn boasts its original oak beams with lots of unigue features.
We have just reopened the village store and tearoom.
Next door to the barn is the local pub and minutes away is the famous organic bakery.
Melmerby is centrally located to visit the Northern lakes, Hadrian's wall and south west Scotland
