• Loughrigg. A very spacious and richly decorated and furnished room with 2 large windows and views across two sides of the house towards the Fairfield Horseshoe and Wansfell Pike. The room has a Superking sized bed and can be let as a double en suite or a flexible room with upto 2 single beds. There is a brand new large en suite bathroom featuring a double ended roll top bath and a seperate large shower cubicle.

Fabulous suite comprising entrance hall with tea/coffee making facilities, a very large bedroom with super-king sized bed, can accommodate 2 or 3 single beds or 1 super-king and up to 2 single beds. It has a double height ceiling with skylight and oak beam, cast iron fireplace with candles and 2 windows facing north and east with incredible views over Rydal water, the river Rothay and the Fairfield Horseshoe. En suite bathroom with newly refurbished victorian roll top bath and walk in shower. Very famous room where Woodrow Wilson, ex American president, had his portrait painted by Frederick Yates beneath the north-facing skylight!

• Wansfell. Large comfortable room with super-king sized bed and single bed. Can accommodate 3 single beds. Or 1 super-king and 2 singles. Large picture window overlooking Rydal village with the Fairfield Horseshoe behind and private gardens to the front of the house. Private power shower and separate WC are directly opposite, a gown is provided for your convenience. There are no other guests using these facilities.
