Dale Cottage has a secluded position in the delightful village of High Lorton. Overlooked by the bold hills of Whiteside and Kirkfell, the area is unspoilt and relatively quiet even in high season, yet there are five lakes within six miles and many opportunities for hill walking, watersports and sightseeing. The town of Keswick is only 15 minutes away with a full range of shops and visitor attractions, including the Theatre by the Lake, cinema, galleries and restaurants. Lorton itself has a shop and a pub which serves excellent meals.
Converted from part of the old Horseshoe Inn, the cottage is light and airy and has up-to- date facilities, including a wood burning stove which makes it particularly cosy in the evenings. It would suit 2 couples or a family of 4, 1 double bedroom, 1 with 2 single beds, both with hand basins.
