Ravenstone is a delightful country hotel with lots of character, including an open wooden staircase, wood paneling and large wooden fire surrounds. The hotel is set in over 2 acres of its own grounds, much of it being mature woodland, just 4 miles from Keswick and close to Bassenthwaite village in the Lake District. There are spectacular views over Bassenthwaite Lake with open countryside for fell walking and site seeing. You will find the hotel warm and welcoming providing everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
All 19 bedrooms have en suite facilities, some superior rooms and 4-poster rooms, one with jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower.
Our restaurant serves a mix of traditional and modern dishes and we have an extensive wine cellar to suit all tastes. There is a comfortable and spacious guest lounge where you can relax throughout the day in front of a roaring open fire. The bar is well stocked and the games room, with a full size snooker table, pool table and table tennis table, is ready for your challenge.
Everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
Minimum of 2 nights may only be available on some weekends.
