Details
Tastefully refurbished, the cottage has slate floors downstairs, and wool carpet upstairs.
There is gas central heating throughout, and all windows and doors are double-glazed
The dining/kitchen has a gas-fuelled AGA. The lounge has a wood-burning stove.
There is a chaise-longue in the snug. The utility room is complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer, cloakroom and boot racks.
All 3 bedrooms have valley and fell views. A master double bedroom with king-size bed, a further double and a twin room. Shower room and family bathroom.
The garden has stunning views and seating, with 2 acres of grass and woodland to explore. Red squirrels, pheasants and deer all frequent the garden. Ample private parking. Bleaberry Lodge is cleaned and maintained by the owners.
Located at the foot of Whinlatter forest with private access into forest. Haven for walkers or cyclists or simply lovers of stunning scenery. Whinlatter visitor centre accessible by foot or bicycle with Osprey viewing, mapped out walks, trails and centre facilities such as cafe and shop. Bassenthwaite lake also accessible by foot and cycle. Fells such as Grizedale Pike, Barrow and Causey Pike also accessible by foot and cycle. Children welcome from any age.
