We offer a classic, contemporary style, formal restaurant and a traditional pub menu in our bar.

From the North Lakes take A591 south from Ambleside, heading towards Windermere. At Troutbeck Bridge mini roundabout take A592 to Bowness. At the mini roundabout in Bowness, bear right towards the lakeside. After about 100m, take the first left onto A4074. Follow signs to Lyth Valley and Lancaster along this road. Go through Winster village. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles until a sharp 90 degree bend. At this bend, turn left following signs to Crosthwaite. Go through the village, past the post office and primary school. The Punch Bowl is situated on the right-hand side of the road, ust next to the church.
From M6 take jct 36, following signs to Kendal, A591. Travel along the dual carriageway until taking the first exit, signposted to Barrow. Take the first exit off the roundabout, signposted to Barrow and follow the dual carriageway for approximately 1 mile. Take the right-hand turn, signposted to Bowness and Windermere. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles until there is a sharp 90 degree left bend. At this bend, turn right, following the signpost to Crosthwaite. As above.
