Details
Beautiful 18th century oak beamed cottage in the Lake District National Park - 6 miles from Lake Windermere in the tranquil Lyth valley with great walks from the door and a pub/restaurant 10 minutes walk from the cottage.
The cottage sleeps four with en-suite bathrooms to both bedrooms, one with a whirlpool bath. It is the perfect holiday home - exposed oak beams, wood burning stove, excellent fitted kitchen and all mod cons.
The Peat House is a very tranquil place in which to relax, unwind and enjoy the unique natural beauty of this special part of the world. Set in the small hamlet of Row in the Lyth valley, it stands on the hillside with magnificent views in all directions. Surrounded by damson orchards, fields and trees, access is via a narrow lane which only leads to the hamlet of just twenty or so houses. Most of the well known attractions of the Lake District are within easy reach, yet the cottage feels far from the noise and crowds.
The Lyth valley offers outstanding natural beauty with good walking and has a superb selection of country pubs and restaurants to visit.
