From M6 jct 36 take A590/A591 towards Kendal and Windermere. At the roundabout north of Kendal take the first exit B5284 towards Crook. Follow this road for approximately 6 miles to T-junction. Turn left and immediately right into Longtail Hill to T-junction. Turn left onto A592 towards Newby Bridge for 1.5 miles. Storrs Hall is on the right; the entrance is on the sharp left bend. By rail to Windermere, then use bus or taxi.
