Mintfest 2010 at Kendal

Mintfest is Kendal’s International Festival of Street Arts which sees an exhilarating kaleidoscope of the very best contemporary international street arts invade the whole of the pretty market town of Kendal. It’s now one of the UK’s leading street arts festivals and 2010 is bigger and better than ever.

Over 150 performers from across the globe will perform comedy, acrobatics, circus, dance, music, cabaret and much more over four days.

Highlights for 2010 include a spectacular firework and percussion launch event from French pyrotechnic wizards Les Commandos Percu at Westmorland County Showground on Thu 2 Sep at 8.30pm and a street festival in Kendal town centre on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. There’s a huge array of performances to keep the whole family thoroughly entertained, and best of all, most of it is completely free. Don’t miss it.
