Green Route: Ambleside, Wray, Brockhole.

Board one of our traditional wooden launches for a beautiful cruise around the northern end of Windermere, enjoying views of the mountains and valleys, secluded bays and fine houses. The cruise calls in at Wray Castle by request and at Brockhole National Park Visitor Centre, where you can get off the boat and catch a later one back to Waterhead.

Wheelchair access: Yes - however, access to saloon or toilets is dependent on vessel. Customers are asked to ring in advance to check.

Bike spaces. Bike capacity: Until full. Dependent on how many people are on the vessel.

Accessible by Public Transport : 4 miles (6.4 kms) from Windermere station

Corporate hospitality and conferencing facilites can be provided on a steamer if pre-booked. The main bus service drops off 1.25 miles from the pier on the A590 at newby bridge. Steam trains, seasonal, run from Haverthwaite station and bus stop, A590, direct to the pier. Extensive car and coach parking facilites, hotel services and The Aquarium of the Lakes are on site.
