Canoe River Trip at Mobile Adventure

If you fancy seeing another side of the Lake District then why not try one of Mobile Adventure's river trips? From the seat of your boat you can see parts of Cumbria unattainable by any other means, and whatever your level of experience we guarantee that after a short period of training on a lake you will be ready to tackle your first 'white water' rapids! If this is your first time on moving water you'll be amazed at how the boat 'comes alive' in its natural environment!

As the river carries us along we may see herons and kingfishers and will tackle several stretches of white water rapids, all whilst being surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in England!

Our modern specialised river running boats handle very well and will forgive the odd wobble! It is a surprisingly relaxing activity as the river current does most of the work allowing you to sit back and enjoy the ride. Before running any rapids a comprehensive briefing will be given by your instructor who will never be far away. The only requirement is to be confident in water; an ability to swim is not essential as you will be wearing a buoyancy aid throughout the trip.
