Rock Climbing and Abseiling at Dave's Adventure Company
Abseiling
This is the easy bit of climbing as gravity does all the work. Although is still challenging making the initial start over the edge. Dave can build you up gently from very gentle abseils to classic 40 metre epics. Abseiling is often combined as part of a climbing session but can be enjoyed purely on its own, all abseiling has an additional safety rope so it is impossible to let go and fall. Dave also does night abseils which can be particularly scary.
Climbing
The Lake District is the birthplace of British climbing steeped in tradition and an awe inspiring location. Come and try playing on the steep stuff. Let Dave gently introduce you to a exhilarating sport. We will locate a suitable venue that will meet your needs without scaring the life out of you and as your confidence and skill grows we can move on to more challenging climbs.
