Breadmaking by Hand at Quirky Workshops @ Greystoke Cycle Cafe

Machines are great but can’t do everything we might need to make bread the traditional way...by hand, and sometimes it's just ‘more rewarding and plain nicer’. Gillian Harris, who is becoming very well known throughout the county for her whole repertoire of bread making skills will share with us her secrets for a wonderful variety of her very achievable and special ‘hand-made breads'. Not to be missed - using both Aga and conventional ovens.

Notes	The Cycle Cafe is a family-run tea garden with unusual opening times. Fri 12.00 to 18.00. Sat 10.00 to 18.00 and the second Sun of the month 10.00 to 18.00. We will serve any cyclists at other times with whatever we have, if of course we are about and available. Seasonal opening only, Apr to end Sep.

On the C2C Cycle route 200 yds north of Greystoke village green, direction Blencowe. We welcome all cyclists and walkers and ask all those with cars to walk the 350yds from the village car park around the Greystoke Castle walls.
We can offer parking in our driveway to cycle support vehicles and those attending our workshop days,
Bus links to Penrith and Keswick. Penrith railway station 5 miles

Parking : free

Nearest station : 5 miles (8.0 kms) from Penrith station

We have a ground floor toilet but not wide enough for wheelchair access.
