Enjoy a senzzzory experience exploring the world of the honey bee. A day of demonstrations, exhibitions and activities suitable for adults and children. Plenty to do, see and buy!
Including: Live bees at work in an observation hive; 'Cooking with Honey': demonstrations by the Celebrity Cumbrian Chef John Crouch at 10.30 & 13.30; Developing the Bee Friendly Garden; talks by Maureen Little, author and gardening expert at 11.30 & 14.30; Film 'The World of the Honey bee' at 12.30 & 15.30.
For sale: Bee friendly plants, supplied by Eden Garden Centre; candles and other wax products; Honey, jams, cakes, biscuits and sweets ; Aloe Propolis Creme and other health and beauty products; Raffle tickets for prize draw.
Beehive construction and hives for sale. Family activity: candle making.
Self guided tours of the mill available throughout the day.

Family concession All Day tickets (Up to 2 adults and up to 2 children or 1 adult and up to 3 children): £10
