Homes & Gardens at Wandering Cloud

The stunning landscape of the southern Lake District provides an outstanding backdrop to this tour of some of the best stately homes and private gardens in Cumbria. From wild, rocky Lakeland style to understated elegance, you will explore a rich diversity of homes and gardens over the five days. The tour includes accommodation for 6 nights, all meals, transport and entrance fees to the houses and gardens. The admission charge to the private gardens goes to the charities supported by the National Gardens Scheme.

You will be staying at the friendly and comfortable Abbot Hall Hotel near Grange-over-Sands with views over Morecambe Bay and lovely grounds for an evening stroll. Your evening meal and breakfast are included at the hotel and light lunches are provided at the gardens.

One of the garden owners will give us an evening talk on how she gardens in an organic and wildlife-friendly manner and uses gardening to support young and vulnerable people.

You will visit a total of 16 gardens over the 5 days so you are sure to come away with more than a little inspiration for your own Garden of Eden!
