Langdale Gala, a traditional Cumbrian event located in the heart of the Lakes on Walthwaite Meadow, Chapel Stile. Running on the first Sunday of July (1st July 2012), Langdale Gala features many sporting events including a junior/senior fell run, children's flat races, Cumberland and Westmorland Wrestling and many more. There will also be a pet show, fancy dress for the little ones, craft stalls, music, and food and drink for all.
