Winster Wobble Electric Cycle Circuit
Tue 4 Jun 2013 to Tue 10 Sep 2013
Come and explore the highways, byways and little-known tracks of Lakeland by electric bike with an experienced Blue Badge Guide. An electric bicycle takes the strain out of cycling, allowing you to enjoy the ever-changing Lakeland scenery at a pace that suits you.
The Winster Wobble is a tour of hidden treasures and damson delights!
We start at Bowness-on-Windermere (Glebe Road) for induction and cycling practice on electric bike. The bustle of Bowness is soon left behind as we enter the peace and serenity of the Winster Valley. Lunch is at the Mason's Arms, before continuing to the remote church of St Anthony's at Cartmel Fell. We then loop around Whitbarrow to enter the Lyth Valley and return via Crosthwaite and Gilpin Mill. Stunning views accompany our tour with some unexpected delights along the way!
