If you have time for only one tour then arguably this is the one! In our opinion this is the most varied and complete exploration of the Lake District possible on a one day tour.
High mountain passes, beautiful lakes, stone circles, spectacular waterfalls, Lakeland farms, local food and ten lakes make this a tour to remember. This tour visits the famous scenic highlights but also some hidden delights that make for an unforgettable experience.
To get the most out of this tour it helps if you can walk on uneven ground for 15- 20 minutes.

Payment
Reservations will only be confirmed on receipt of full payment. Reservation confirmations will be forwarded by email from Lake District Tours.

The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour where the minimum number of passengers required is not reached or for unforeseen operational reasons the tour can no longer operate. In such cases the Company liability to the Customer is the full return of monies paid for the tour. Where possible an alternative tour will be offered.
Charges
In the unfortunate event of you having to cancel a tour 50% of the tour cost will be refunded. There are no charges should you wish to change your tour date.
There will be no refunds for cancellation on the day of the tour or if a passenger is late for a tour/cannot find the pick-up point.Insurance
We recommend that passengers take out suitable travel, medical & cancellation insurance.
Alterations
Lake District Tours reserves the right to change the tour itinerary at any time, due to weather, traffic problems, availability of attractions or other extenuating circumstances. All timings are approximate and may vary according to weather, traffic etc.
Entrance Fees
Please note that entrance fees/costs to attractions, cruises etc. are not included in the tour price except where stated.
Vehicles
The Company reserves the right to change the type of motor vehicle used, if circumstances dictate this is necessary.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles
Behaviour
The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to other passengers. In such cases full cancellation charges to passenger apply, and the Company shall have no further liability to that passenger.
Children
This tour is not suitable for children under 5 years old.

Complimentary pick up is arranged from your hotel/guesthouse in the Windermere/Bowness area or from Windermere station on request. Transfers from Oxenholme station can be arranged .
