An exhibition at The Beacon drawn from the Rosehill archive to mark the 50th anniversary
of Sir Nicholas Sekers’ theatre. Relive the glory years of this bijou theatre through a collection
of images featuring some of the most famous composers, musicians and singers of their era
including Yehudi Menuhin, Jacqueline du Pré and Benjamin Britten. There will also be the opportunity to secure your copy of the 50th anniversary book, The Story of a Theatre, written by long-standing board member, and secretary, Joe Blackadder.

Rosehill Theatre and Cinema are one mile north of Whitehaven. From the main A595, take the turning at the brown tourist sign marked Rosehill Theatre. The theatre is situated about half a mile on the left hand side and is clearly signposted.
