Whinlatter Forest

Whinlatter may not be a ‘natural' environment but its 51 km (32 miles) of forest roads and tracks provide great opportunities for walking, cycling, horseriding and orienteering. A Visitor Centre (with video link to the osprey nest at Bassenthwaite Lake) provides all the information you need about the forest park.
