Solway Aviation Museum

Slack House Organic Farm

This organic working farm specialises in producing Birdoswald cheese, a traditional ‘Ayrshire sweet-milk' cheese derived from milk produced by the farm's Ayrshire cows. Cheese making takes places every Sunday (and on other days by prior appointment). Outside, a self-guided trail passes through areas of conservation interest on the farm. Tearoom serving delicious meals using home-produced lamb and beef and locally grown organic vegetables.

Geltsdale Brewery

The recently opened Geltsdale Brewery, housed in the former brewery buildings, produces a range of traditional real ales. Brewery tours for small groups, including a chance to sample all the ales.

Cumbria Cottage Farm Shop & Tearoom

Cumbrian Cottage ice creams are made here using milk from the farm's dairy herd, including unusual flavours such as almond butter toffee, Turkish delight and Hokey Pokey (vanilla with cinder toffee). The farm shop has an extensive range of cheeses, chutneys, preserves and fresh vegetables. Tearoom.
