The market town of Appleby is in the heart of the peaceful Eden Valley. It is surrounded by many small villages and is the prefect location to spend some time exploring the area or walking by the riverside. Appleby has only a couple of hotels, but many family run bed and breakfasts and quaint self catering cottages.
