This comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, listed cottage, recently developed to high standard, has great character and magnificent views. It is located in the Hartsop Conservation Area, surrounded by high mountains and overlooking Hayeswater Gill

The cottage is surrounded by high mountains, centrally positioned and close to Ullswater, providing an ideal place for walking and exploring.

The main room and kitchen are on the first floor to take advantage of the mountain views and the stream. Natural wood is a special feature, notably the exposed beams, pitched rafters and hardwood floors. All first floor rooms have high pitched ceilings and the main room has a cosy wood-burning stove.

On the ground floor the main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a single bed with guest bed. The bathroom is on the first floor and a shower room is adjacent to the bedrooms. The utility room provides facilities for supporting activities on the patio, which overlooks the garden and stream.

Change over is on a Sunday, arrival time 16.00 and departure 10.00. Electricity, linen and a starter wood pack are included in the tariff. The cottage is for non-smokers only and sorry, no pets.

Economy 7 heating. Watersports, sailing and wind surfing, lesiure facilities including swimming pool, rowing and motor boat hire, bicycle hire, fishing and Ullswater lake cruises are available at Glenridding, 3 miles. Golf is availalbe near to Threlkeld and horse riding and pony trekking near to Troutbeck. Children welcome from any age.
