This covers a wide range of activities and no better place to do it than the Lake District. Guided up them big summits, go off the traditional path following everyone else, try one of the famous ridges you may have seen on the telly. Wild camp by a remote mountain tarn or stream or be supported to complete your own special challenge or just be guided to a beautiful and tranquil location and really enjoy the majesty of the mountains.

Starting point for activities, a place to leave your car and to be transported on your day's adventure. A place to have a warm welcome to sort your specialised kit out and try on in the dry and warm. A place to retreat to if you are cold and wet with toilet, hot shower and drying room refreshments/sitting areas and training room.

Most activites depending on level of fitness and weather conditions, all year. Easter to November, all activities including the very wet.

Prices

Adults £65 per day £40 half day. Bespoke individual family day £240. Discounts for groups. Special rates for schools and voluntary groups.

From jct 36 on M6 drive 5km along A590 dual carriageway towards Kendal. Turn off onto A591 dual carriageway towards western peninsulas and Barrow in Furness, drive 4km turn right onto the A5074 towards Bowness in Windermere drive 3km and take a left up a single track lane signposted the ROW, if you get to the Lyth valley hotel you have gone 200m to far! Follow lane into small hamlet Row Barn is the second barn on the left with a full length canopy which is white underneath and canoes in the yard!
