Workshop/Course, from 6 Aug 2015, £68

Spend an enjoyable and relaxing day with Margaret Jarvis being guided through and experimenting with the wonderful medium of watercolour. In the morning you will learn the principles of colour mixing, how to use washes and master various techniques for effects and textures. By lunchtime you may have chosen a feature in the garden, perhaps a stone wall or a section of a flower border, even a single bloom, or possibly even a first landscape across parkland to Greystoke Castle, weather allowing.

If it is cold or wet we can work under shelter or use material indoors. Please bring suitable clothing. Paints and brushes can be provided, or bring your own, for which a small charge may be made.
