Nearest station: Grange Over Sands 6 miles. Windermere 8 miles
Buses: 618 Ambleside to Barrow-in-Furness stops at the park. X35 Kendal to Barrow-in-Furness stops at Newby Bridge, 1 mile away.

Most of the paths are wheelchair accessible. Mainly gravel paths. Mobility transfers available between car parks and café. Limited coach parking in lay-by outside park entrance. Dogs on leads welcome.

Accessible by Public Transport : 8 miles (12.9 kms) from Windermere station

Prior bookings for groups. Grounds have loose gravel paths, steep slopes, grass paths and undulating terrain so only partial disabled access. Staff driven vehicles are available every day during the season. Drop-off point - transfer available.
