Situated between Cockermouth and Maryport midway between Lake District National Park and the Solway Coast our luxury self catering accommodation offers the best of both worlds, lakes and mountains to the South and East and sandy unspoilt beaches and unspoilt coastline (AONB) to the West.

Our modern dairy farm sits in the heart of the open countryside and has an abundance of wildlife and views of both the Scottish and Lakeland fells. The gem market town of Cockermouth is just 3 miles away with its wide array of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions.

Bendale Cottage, 4 star, is ideal for couples, it has open-plan living area. Bedroom with king-sized bed and bathroom with shower enclosure.

Little Meadow and the Old Byre are brand new barn conversions built in the courtyard at West House Farm. Both cottages have been awarded 5 star by Visit Britain and The Old Byre has been given a Gold Award.

Guests at the Old Byre can enjoy 5-star living with the added bonus of relaxing in the luxurious private outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub. Both cottages have been tastefully converted using traditional materials and local craftsmen. The bricks are oven clay baked, the beams and trusses are hand made from Douglas Fir and all the doors and windows are hand-made from hard wood and seasoned oak. Much of the furniture is joiner built in light oak. The doors are hung on cast iron hinges and have sneck fastenings.

The cottages feature, oil-fired central heating, fully-fitted oak kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microvave and full range of equipment, Sony music centres and ipod docs.
Both cottages have master bedrooms with king-size bed and wall-mounted flat-screen TVs and second bedrooms with twin beds. The Old Byre has bathroom with large cast bath and separate shower. Little Meadow has a family bathroom with large cast bath and power shower over and a separate en suite with power shower.

Our guests will receive a welcome pack of delicious local Cumbrian produce, complementary luxury toiletries and use of dressing gowns and slippers.
