This club offers a heated indoor swimming pool with spa bath, steam room and sanarium. There is also an exercise studio and tennis court available for hire. The Club also runs children's activity sessions (an hour long). Day pass available for non-members.

Brathay River
Noted for its brown trout, perch, pike & eels. Fishing rights controlled by the Windermere and District Angling Association.

Loughrigg Tarn (National Trust)
The tarn offers good year-round fishing for perch, roach, pike and eels. Day permits from Tarn Foot Farm. Parking at Tarn Foot Farm.

Anyone fishing for salmon, trout, freshwater fish or eels within England or Wales must hold a Rod Licence (available from post offices or on-line from the Environment Agency). Anglers should also be aware of local bylaws on fishing.
