The Mount is a hidden treasure nestled at the foot of the Howgill Fells, ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park and The Lake District. You can chose an active holiday or relax and enjoy the comfort and views from the house either in front of an open fire in winter or around the barbeque in summer.

Not only is the house wonderful for family and friends to get together but also is ideal for a Luxury Break. Whether it's a romantic weekend for 2 or a special occasion for more we can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. With a separate living room, dining room, lounge and kitchen there is plenty of room to relax. At the end of the day you can either have a quick shower and walk down to the pub or enjoy a long leisurely soak in the original roll top bath for a quiet evening in.
