Whiteside Ridge to Grisedale with KR Guided Walks at Keswick Tourist Information Centre

A high level traverse from Crummock Water to Braithwaite. Climb up to Whiteside over Whin Ben and then enjoy a mile of narrow ridge (not quite as narrow as Striding Edge!) to Hopegill Head and on to Grisedale Head.

Highest point 791m, Ascent 800m, Distance 12km, Grade A.

Walks come in three grades : C - fairly easy walk on mixed ground; valleys or low fells. B - a good days walk with some steep ascents and descents; quite strenuous. A - a serious walk going high with steep ascents; good fitness necessary. Walks last all day and for the majority we meet in Keswick at 9.00 or 10.00.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids. In the interest of the group as a whole the leader is empowered to refuse to take anyone whom he/she considers to be unlikely to complete the walk safely.

£15 full day, children half price; under 16yrs must be accompanied. Additional transport costs may be incurred. Come on 4 walks get one free.
