Touring theatre company and Florence Arts Centre favourites Don’t Go Into The Cellar Theatre return to the West Cumbrian venue on Saturday 25 March with a brand new show for 2017.
Terror on the Tracks: Tales of Railway Revenants celebrates the classic Victorian and Gothic literature’s relationship with the railways in a show that features all the hallmarks of Don't Go Into The Cellar's atmospheric shows, and features a cast of characters straight from the pages of the best Victorian literature.
The show includes a new adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic chiller, The Signalman and other tales of menace and melodrama are the bill of fare on offer to those brave enough to join us. Journey back to the days of steam, where untold menace could be found lurking in the tunnels, set to leap out of the darkness to ensnare the unwary!
Each Don’t Go Into The Cellar experience is an unforgettable trip back to the glory days of gothic horror - previous visits to Florence Arts have included Sherlock Holmes, Dracula’s Ghost and a sold-out selection of Ghost Stories for Christmas. This new show is set to thrill and chill the blood and will be their first trip to Egremont in 2017… they will be returning this Halloween bringing another new show, Morbid Curiosities: Queens of Victorian Horror.
Don’t miss this brilliant night of wicked entertainment at one of the region’s most atmospheric and intimate venues.
