Good to know

Park Cliffe is open from 1st March until 14th November 2024 for touring and camping.

Check in after 2pm, departure by 12noon.

Please note hard ground awning/tent pegs are required. Where electric hook-up is provided customers must provide their own leads.

Pitches are available from 2pm on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Prices are per night.

The 3 Lakes Tour: Ullswater, Derwentwater and Windermere are all combined in this three-night lake-lovers break which has been created by ourselves and our friends at The Quiet Site and Castlerigg Hall. The 3 Lakes Tour is on offer to small/medium campervan owners.

More info

For more on the walks in the area, please visit our reception. Our staff will be happy to give help and advice. Alternatively visit our Things to Do section where you can find lots of information about what to see and where to go whilst on holiday in the Lake District.

So if you’re after the best caravan parks in The Lake District, look no further. However if you still need convincing please read our Google reviews or TripAdvisor reviews.

Private bathrooms

We have four private bathrooms which are available for hire at £15.00 per night. We also have one bathroom available on an hourly basis, at no charge.

Unoccupied

During low season periods touring caravans can be left unoccupied midweek (Sun-Thur) for £7.00 per night, maximum stay 2 weeks.  Excluding electric hook-up, which must be disconnected.

Reminders for when you’re on the park

  • For your safety and security and to minimise noise the Park gates are locked at 11pm and open at 7.30am. If you are out late, vehicles can be parked just outside the main gate. Then please tip-toe back to your pitches, remembering as you walk past tourers, tents and pods to have consideration for fellow visitors who may be asleep.
  • We cater primarily for families, couples and singles, and have a ‘all quiet after 11pm’ rule so that everyone can enjoy a quiet night’s sleep.  Remember voices can carry (especially when on a mobile phone).
  • There’s no loud music allowed at any time – we are not a music festival and for some guest’s loud music can spoil their peace and relaxation.
  • Our reception is open from 9am to 6pm (9pm Friday & Saturday). If you require assistance outside of these times contact the Duty Warden. Please check the notice on the reception door as where to locate them.

Thank you for your consideration of others whilst visiting touring caravan sites.
