Muncaster's Victorian Extravaganza at Muncaster CastleMuncaster's Victorian Extravaganza at Muncaster Castle

The gardens and owl centre are open from 11:00 until 18:00 and the Stable Yard is decorated for Christmas. The elegantly decorated Castle is open to all on 21st, 22nd, 23rd & 27th and 28th December between 12 noon and 16:00. On each of these afternoons, "Below Stairs" tours with Muncaster's servants in period costume from 1885 are available along with the Christmas Darkest Muncaster Garden Illuminations. These transform the Gardens into a winter wonderland with festive light shows playing on the Castle.
Experience the magic of this beautiful, ancient Castle, lit by candle light and elegantly decorated for Christmas. Enjoy the gardens and the Stable yard offering festive food and drink. Lots of fun for all the family with husky sled dogs, pony rides, walkabout entertainment and live festive music. "Below Stairs" tours must be pre booked online at www.muncaster.co.uk.
