Details

The property is situated in an extremely peaceful location, well within the Lake District National Park, at the head of the tiny, unspoilt valley of Dale Park. (Latitude 54.330491, Longitude -2.995523). Dale Park is one of Lakeland's best kept secrets.
It abounds in wild life. The valley is flanked on both sides by deciduous woodland and High Dale Park Barn has a beautiful, south facing view down the valley, which is made up of three hamlets: High Dale Park, Middle Dale Park and Low Dale Park. Excellent walks and cycle rides are in abundance in Grizedale Forest, literally seconds away from the Barn. The newly extended Grizedale Visitor Centre (opened 2009) is an hour's walk or a 15 minute car journey.
The historic, medieval village of Hawkshead is situated just
3 miles due north of Dale Park. Beatrix Potter's house - 3 miles east.
Our property is owner-managed. We live next to the Barn - at right angles - so we don't overlook each other. There is ample parking space for six cars and we have secure, undercover bike storage available.
We welcome children of all ages and pets by arrangement.
Arrivals from 16.00. Departures from 10.00.
