A lovely walled tea garden to the front and back of our 17thC Cumbrian home providing a tranquil spot in which to relax, read the papers and let the world pass you by. Perfect for children and families, plenty of space and often friendly cats are in evidence, on which to heap attention.

We enjoy unique views over the estate grounds towards Greystoke Castle.

In the mornings strings of local racehorses file back and forth on their way to the gallops on the Greystoke Estate.

We serve speciality teas and coffees, light lunches, home-made soups, pates and paninis. Aga-baked, home-made cakes and real cream teas. Hedgerow home-made cordials and use our own organics from our poly tunnel wherever possible.

Catering for the cyclists with large mugs of tea and coffee, cakes, free drinks bottle refills and a dry barn to sit in on the wet or windy days, complete with towels for drying and blankets to keep bare legs warm !

We are an official Sustrans C2C Stamping Station.
