Operating daily, steam engines haul comfortable carriages through the picturesque Leven Valley to Lakeside; the southern end of Lake Windermere.

Haverthwaite Station is home to our collection of lovingly restored steam and diesel locomotives, which visitors can view in The Engine Shed. Our Station Restaurant serves a selection of homemade meals, cakes and snacks, The Gift Shop boasts an array of gifts and souvenirs, Picnic Areas and new for 2012 our Woodland Adventure Play Area with climbing structures, slide, monkey bars and much more!

Discounted combination tickets are available with other top attractions including:
Windermere Lake Cruises, Lakes Aquarium, The World of Beatrix Potter and Lakeland Motor Museum.
