Cumbria and the Northwest Tourism Awards recognise excellence within the tourism industry and reward both group and individual achievement over the past year.

The Rum Story is the winner of Small Visitor Attraction of the Year 2007 in the Cumbria Tourism Awards. The judges felt that The Rum Story captures the imagination of visitors as they wind their way through the original 1785 shop, courtyards, cellars and warehouses of the Jefferson family.
