Carlisle Racecourse offers a superb, flexible, purpose built conference and exhibition venue to accommodate conferencing, banqueting, exhibitions, weddings, Christmas parties, birthdays, christening celebrations, outdoor events and more.

The Grandstand and Lawn Suite are ideal for meetings, seminars, exhibitions, product awareness and weddings.

Flexibility is the key - with 16 function rooms available on site, Wi-Fi throughout and free on site car parking for up to 400 cars.

The Bell Hall located on the ground floor of the Grandstand is accessible from three sides of the building, with vehicular access also available for motor fairs, product launches and other such events.

By road from North and South - leave M6 jct 42, follow signs for Dalston. Follow the road for approx 2 miles until you reach a staggered jct and turn right. The racecourse is approx 1 mile on the left-hand side.

From East - Take A69 or A66 to M6. Join M6 and leave at jct 42 and follow directions above.

From West - Travel along A595 following signs for Carlisle. Approx 1 mile after Thursby roundabout take right for Dalston. At T jct in Dalston turn right. Follow road until you reach Bridge End Pub. Turn left over bridge and follow signs for Durdar. When you reach next jct turn left. The racecourse is approx 1 mile on the left hand side.

By bus - On racedays, Reays operate a bus service from Carlisle Bus Station to the Racecourse. Buses run 90 minutes and 45 minutes before the first race and return to Carlisle 5 minutes and 35 minutes after the last race. The cost is £1.60 each way.

By rail from Carlisle station, the Stagecoach, 01228 597222, operate a bus service to Durdar, route 65 or 66. Alternatively the racecourse is only a short taxi ride away.
