Details

Silver & semi-precious stone jewellery weekend for beginners and intermediates.

Melinda Scarborough is a talented award winning designer maker jeweller with over 30 years’ experience who specialises in precious metals and gems.

On this two day workshop you will design and make several pieces of jewellery under Melinda's careful guidance. Maybe a pendant, bracelet, matching ear rings or even a ring - once you get the hand of it the then you can go on to make further pieces using all the equipment and processes provided. Your design will be individual to you and in the process you will learn many jewellery making techniques including cutting, forming, doming, soldering, texturing and polishing.

People will be able to work at their own pace and make the most of workshop time. Some people make 3 or 4 items and some make just one or two more intricate ones - whatever you choose to design and make Melinda will be there on hand to help you. Group size usually limited to 7.
